Thousands of bills are filed each year in Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. Legislation and regulations can have a significant impact on our industry and the cost of doing business. MAPDA monitors for legislation of interest, participates and organizes allied coalitions, provides testimony, and is recognized as a strong voice for petroleum distributors and convenience store owners in Maryland, Delaware, and DC.

MAPDA is a member of the Petroleum Marketers Association of America (PMAA).PMAA is a federation of 48 state and regional trade associations representing approximately 8,000 independent petroleum marketers nationwide. MAPDA members receive PMAA federal affairs updates and are often called upon to provide grassroots assistance on important federal issues.
